13 Months Old
13 month old baby, Stevie Wonder says in Superstition. I almost forgot this month’s age, preferring the brevity of “one” to the question of “How old is she?”
Sleeping update: Dude. She slept through the night. Still wakes up sometimes, but a quick nurse and she’s back in the crib. Naps consistently after lunch for a couple hours. It’s a miracle. Mobility update: She gets up and stands on her own, takes a few steps on her own, pushes around anything that moves, crawls fast. Mind you, all this business is going to change next week.
Focusing on sit-down activities. Claps, peek-a-boos, points to her nose, high fives. Points and mimics pictures in books. Can do the circle, square, rectangle, and triangle in her shape puzzle. Deposits all the cylinders in her block sorter. We tried coloring, but she just bit off the crayon tips. Speaking of biting, she got a new tooth, bringing the total to 5.
Loves kisses and hugs. I mean, who doesn’t? But she lifts up her head for a kiss and pats you on the back during a hug. Killer cuddler.
